Saturday, 1 February 2025: GFS Supreme Show
The annual GFS Supreme Show is the biggest Gouldian Finch show in South Africa. This is where all the top breeders compete for the title of Supreme Champion, accompanied by our coveted Championship Cup with its illustrious history in South African birdkeeping, which dates back to 1955. The Championship Cup is a floating trophy of immeasurable significance to the history of the GFS, and to the legacy of South African aviculture in general.
Saturday, 29 November 2025: Championship Young Bird Show
Towards the end of November each year, GFS members have the opportunity to showcase the best young birds from the current year’s breeding season. Exhibitors compete for the title of Champion Young Bird of the Year and our prized floating trophy.
